After high school, Prabowo shifted focus to military education. In 1970, he entered the Military Academy in Magelang, Indonesia, where he combined his international experiences with rigorous military training.

Prabowo enhanced his military knowledge through advanced training programs in the United States. He attended the prestigious Special Forces Officer Course at Fort Benning, where he mastered strategic leadership skills and honed his expertise in modern warfare.

Prabowo’s military education continued in Germany, where he participated in the elite Counter-Terrorist Course with the GSG-9, Germany’s premier counter-terrorism unit. This experience solidified his global military credentials and provided advanced tactical skills in high-risk operations.
